That's why "Tech Assistant for Blind" application has come up with the perfect solution to this problem with its 'Link Shortcuts' feature, which will save your precious time by managing all your important web links and videos at one place safely and correctly.

The most important thing about this feature is that this entire app, like its name, has been designed keeping in mind the 'Accessibility' of 'Visually Impaired Users', hence there is no problem related to accessibility while using this feature.

"How to add links in Link Shortcuts feature?"

It is very easy to add any link in this feature.

"Open the app"

First of all, if "Tech Assistant for Blind" application is already present in your phone, then OPEN it. As soon as the app is opened, you will get a list of many features on the home screen. From this list you have to select the 'Link Shortcuts' feature.

As soon as you select this feature, two options will appear in front of you. The first option will be "Filter by category. Currently selected: All Links", by going to which you can add your own category in the category manager, and the second option will be "Add New Link". If you want to add a new link, then you have to click on this "Add New Link" button. As soon as you click on this button, the main interface of this feature will open in front of you.

Here first of all you will get an edit box named 'Link Title', in which you will have to give the name of the link. For example—"Tech Assistant for Blind Website". After this, on swiping, there will be another edit box named 'URL', here you will have to paste that link. For example – https://techassistantforblind.com/. After this, you will get another edit box named 'Details about this link', in which if you want to write more details about the link, then you can write. Otherwise leave this blank as it is optional. Just below this you will get the option of "Select category. Currently selected: General". By default it is selected on 'General', by going there you can also select your created category. At the end, "Cancel" and "Save Link" buttons are found. If everything is correct, save the link by clicking on the "Save Link" button.

Once your link is successfully saved, it will appear next to the "Filter by category. Currently selected: All Links" option. Whenever you need, you can come here and click on this link to open it directly in the same particular app. Special Note: All the links you add in this feature will have a "More Options" button in front of those links, through which you get full facility to 'Edit', 'Copy', 'Share' and 'Remove' that link.

Backup and Restore Settings

To make your work easier, this app provides excellent facility of Backup and Restore. Its advantage is that your links will remain safe even if the app data is cleared or the app is reinstalled due to technical reasons. This setting is found under your profile in the top right corner of the app's home screen. After going there, you just have to turn on the 'Link Shortcuts' feature and keep your backup, so that you can easily restore all your data if needed in future.

##Recycle Bin Setting

If you accidentally delete a link, there is no need to panic. For this, Recycle Bin facility is also provided in the app. To access this feature, click on the "Sign in as" option in the app and swipe forward to the "Recycle Bin" option located right next to "Settings". Here you will see all the links which have been temporarily deleted. If you wish, you can Restore any link again by clicking on More options button from here, or you can also Permanently Delete it if necessary.
