Welcome to Tech Assistant, an all-in-one accessibility toolkit built for blind and low-vision users. This chapter walks you through creating an account, signing in, and getting your bearings on the Home screen. You'll also learn how the bottom navigation works and how to set up your personal Quick Launch tab so your most-used tool is always one tap away. Every step here has been tested with TalkBack and other screen readers in mind.

These are designed to replace several separate apps with one consistent, accessible experience. Each tool works independently, so you can jump straight to the one you need from Home or the search bar.

This chapter covers the full PDF Manipulation Toolbox, a set of twelve focused tools for reshaping PDF files plus two creation tools for building new PDFs from images or text. Every tool opens from the toolbox hub screen and walks you through selecting a file, adjusting options, and saving the result. This chapter covers Document Studio, the hub for working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EPUB, HTML, and CSV files. From here you can convert office documents to PDF, merge multiple files together, or edit their contents directly on your phone.
